Bungoma Tunaweza Chapter is an initiative of the Vijana Tunaweza Project in Bungoma County, launched by the Emerging Leaders Foundation in 2019 to promote youth participation in devolution and governance matters.
ABOUT TUNAWEZA
Tunaweza initiative of ELF-Africa, the Tunaweza Project (“We can” in Kiswahili) aims to increase youth participation in governance and devolution processes in Kenya. Implemented across 8 counties (Uasin Gishu, Kericho, Migori, Bungoma, Kilifi, Makueni, Narok, and Murang’a) the project empowers youth with knowledge, skills, and competencies to engage strategically in leadership and governance, promoting ethical leadership, inclusion, and accountability.
